Here at the family run West Banbury Farm set in 6 acres in West Devon, close to the Cornwall border, you’ll find everything you need to enjoy an idyllic rural holiday. Our 10 charming cottages are all comfortably and stylishly furnished. Offering a safe haven for children, they are set around 2 sunny courtyards, with spectacular southerly views to Dartmoor. Seven have been converted from traditional farm buildings dating back to the 16^th Century. Three new cottages have been added, all with plenty of character built in.

All cottages have electric night storage heaters and heated towel rails by meter reading, double glazing, fridge/freezer (or separate fridge and freezer), washer/dryer, radio/CD, TV, DVD, microwave, garden furniture and shared barbecues. Wilhayes and Hay Barn have dishwashers. All the kitchens are well equipped and have everything you need to prepare a children's tea or something a little fancier for the adults.

There’s a lot more to West Banbury than just our beautiful cottages.
For the more energetic, we have a newly refurbished indoor swimming pool plus our
new games room with a pool table, table tennis and treadmill. Outside, we have a grass
tennis court and a large and very popular pitch & putt. If all that sounds a bit exhausting,
unwind and relax in our peaceful grounds, which extend to six acres, visit the wildlife pond,
feed the ducks or simply admire the wonderful views to Dartmoor. New for 2007 is our
beauty and pampering service. Katie and Jodie are our beauty therapists who can come
to your cottage and make you feel great with the minimum of effort! Why not try a
pampering weekend? If you and a group of friends fancy a relaxing break then go no further.
You tell us what you want and we’ll make all the arrangements. With the pool and sauna on site you needn’t go far.

And you won’t have to worry about the children. One of the many joys of West Banbury is that children can enjoy their freedom in safety. Car parking is away from the cottages, and with the outdoor play area, pool, pitch & putt, tennis and endless space to simply run around, there’s plenty to exhaust even the most energetic! We also have a good supply of books, games and toys for those quieter moments.

We live at West Banbury too and are always on hand, able to give advice on where to go
or where to eat. We want you to enjoy your holiday to the full, and whether you’re a couple or
a family with children we think you’ll find everything you need right here. Getting here is easy
and we’re ideally placed to explore both Devon and Cornwall. The Eden Project is 45 minutes
away, and the dramatic beaches of North Cornwall are even closer. Or simply relax in the grounds and
enjoy our large heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room, tennis court, children's play area and 9 hole pitch & putt course.
