Tyas Cottage is a 5 Star Self-catering country cottage near Marsden, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield and the Pennine Way. Golf, tennis & the recently built luxurious Titanic Spa can all be found nearby. It is partly solar powered.
The cottage can sleep up to 6 people and has one double and two twin bedrooms. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 of them ensuite.
Despite its secluded setting, Tyas Cottage is very close to numerous attractions, as well as, of course, the Peak Park, the moors and the Pennine Way. The cottage is well suited for hiking and bird watching and there are many local walks on open moors or in sheltered valleys.
Tyas Cottage, a combined cottage and barn, is located within a
small hamlet almost equidistant between Slaithwaite and Marsden on the
site of the first water powered mill in the Colne Valley (C17th). It is 7 miles
from Huddersfield & 11 from Halifax, West Yorkshire. Titanic Spa, with its superb
range of facilities, is only two and a half miles away
In addition to the private patio there is a large award-winning shared garden that
includes a mill pond and stream. There are 11 golf courses within 5 miles.
£19 per person per night (in high season, based on 6 sharing for a week)
£10.50 per person per night (in low season, based on 6 sharing for a week)
It is pet friendly and there is broadband access for your own computer.
