Gardeners Cottage was originally built as gardener's accommodation by Lord Durham who owned and lived in the manor house next door.
The cottage offers very comfortable living and sleeps 4 people in tastefully furnished, centrally heated accommodation, with a lovely south facing garden to relax in. The cottage has been refurbished this year. There is a huge network of footpaths and bridleways running from the property, and the area abounds with wildlife. We regularly see deer, foxes, badgers and buzzards from the garden, and the village peacocks often drop in to see us. The village pub serves a range of beers and excellent food. At High Wray, Warren and Alexine Crawford provide Bed & Breakfast accommodation in two twin rooms, and Self-catering accommodation in two units. High Wray is a large private house 1 1/2 miles/3 km South of Farnham town centre. We look out over beautiful countryside towards the hills at Hindhead. The house is set in 2 acres (nearly 1 hectare) of garden and woodland. We keep chickens, which produce delicious eggs. Rose flat is designed for easy use by people in wheel-chairs, so there is a lot of space in the corridor and around the furniture. Doors are sliding and double french doors open onto the patio. Prices from £210 per week. The Studio is set in a secluded corner of our 2 acre garden. Apart from the shower room, it is all open plan, sleeping a maximum of 4 persons. The sleeping gallery has two single beds which can be linked to make a double. It is up a steep stair. Prices from £265 per week. Bed and Breakfast is from £25 per person per night.
