Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Gary and Jean Johnston, Petit Illyria is a lovingly restored town house, not far from the centre of the quiet market town of Saint-James.

Rooms
With five individually designed bedrooms for the sole purpose of comfort and
hospitality for its guests, we provide a haven of peace and relaxation for the traveller.
We offer Single, Double and Double en suite rooms, each with it's own "personal touch".
We cater for all needs when it comes to food including full evening meals, afternoon teas,
packed lunches for the following day. Full English breakfasts or simple meals using
local produce. Whatever your requirements, we are at your service.

Location
On the Normandy - Brittany border, this elegant house and beautiful landscaped garden was once the residence of the town's doctor. It has now been converted into a Chambres d'Hôtes, offering peaceful, leisurely accommodation. Situated on the border of Normandy and Brittany, William the Conqueror founded Saint-James in the eleventh century on a high promontory. Fortified city walls protected the town and it was an overnight stop for the pilgrims en route from Saint-Jacques de Compostelle to Mont Saint-Michel.
