Welcome to the Mardale Guest House. This fine example of a Victorian Villa is located in a
peaceful residential cul-de-sac 1 mile south west of the City Centre. The City
Centre can be reached by frequent nearby buses, or by a leisurely walk through the Meadows
which links up with the historic Royal Mile. This route passes through the high tenements of the Old Town to the Royal Palace of Holyroodhouse overlooked by Arthurs Seat, only minutes from the bustle of Princes Street and the elegant New Town home to many impressive Museums and Art Galleries.

This personally run 3 star Guest House has 6 letting rooms over 3 floors.

En-suite Double
2 rooms each with double bed and en-suite shower and toilet. Maximum 2 persons.
(These rooms are suitable for the introduction of a full size fold-up
bed for twin or triple occupation)

Double
2 rooms each with double bed and private (not shared) non en-suite shower and toilet.
Maximum 2 persons.

Family Room
1 room with 1 double and 2 single beds and en-suite shower and toilet.
Maximum 4 persons.

Family
1 room with 1 double and 1 single bed and en-suite shower and toilet. Maximum 3 persons.
(can be let for double or twin occupation)

Each room is equipped with: Wash hand basin, Direct dial telephone, Hairdryer,Tourist information pack, Hospitality tray and kettle, Colour TV, Central heating and fresh towels

Enjoy your breakfast in our bright dining room. Guests are offered a choice of Juice & Cereals from the buffet bar, Freshly cooked Traditional breakfast or Continental style breakfast. Vegetarian choice is also available. Accompanied with fresh brewed tea or coffee.
