LA CIDRERIE
Self catering holiday cottages or bed and breakfast near the Normandy/Brittany border

Set adjacent to the beautiful Abbaye de la Lucerne, and close to beaches,
bays, estuaries and forests, La Cidrerie is a group of converted
barns built in the traditional stone of the region.

It is a most tranquil and lovely place with secluded private gardens, yet only a few kilometres drive away from either the golden sandy beaches of Jullouville and Carolles, the bustling fishing port of Granville, or the lovely town of Avranches with its commanding views of Le Mont St Michel.

There are three cottages which are easily adaptable and fully equipped for five adults (plus baby). The cottages can be rented separately or as a one large unit. Alternatively, you may prefer to choose bed and breakfast in the newly renovated barn with its charming views across the apple orchard.

CIDER COTTAGE
Ground floor
Large, comfortable sitting-room with wood-burning stove. Television with
DVD player and video machine and satalite TV, Well-equipped kitchen-diner, with gas cooker,
dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave, Bathroom with shower and wash
basin; washing machine, Separate toilet, Utility space with electric
water boiler and consumer unit
First floor
Two large bedrooms, one with king-size double bed, the other with two singles. Both bedrooms are carpeted with wardrobe, chests of drawers and hanging space , All beds have duvets, pillows and linen - changed weekly - at a cost of 10 euros per bed, per week
Large garden
Feature cider press with wheel and fountain , Patio with garden furniture,Gas barbecue

APPLE COTTAGE
Ground floor

Cider and Apple Cottages are semi-detached, with locked, adjoining doors. They can be rented separately but are also ideal for occupation as a large, single unit.

ORCHARD COTTAGE
Ground floor - Large,well-equipped,kitchen-diner,with oven,d/washer,m/wave,fridge/freezer.
Entrance hall with separatew/c,utility room with washing m/c. Beautiful
oak-floored lounge,with patio doors and open fire.Sat TV,DVD player and many DVDs.
First floor - two large double bedrooms,each with separate folding single.One bedroom
en-suite,other serarate bathroom. Outside - teak dining table with eight
chairs,two Lafuna loungers,barbecue

Prices
La Cidrerie is available to rent on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, as follows:
Cider or Apple Cottage:
January to May - £375 per week
June to August - £500 per week
September to December - £375 per week
Bed linen is provided at a rate of 10 euros per bed per week, and there is a cleaning charge of 60 euros per week. The cottage is cleaned, and the bedding changed, each Saturday.

Cider and Apple Cottage (as one unit):
January to May - £700 per week
June to August - £850 per week
September to December - £700 per week

Orchard Cottage:
January to May - £500 per week
June to August - £750 per week
September to December - £500 per week

NB In addition bed and breakfast may be booked in Cider/ Apple Cottage if they have not been let.

Please note that we do not provide towels, other than hand towels, for Cider and Apple Cottages. Towels are, of course, provided in Orchard Cottage.
