Forest View is situated in the unspoilt countryside of the Perche Valley in the Orne region of Lower Normandy, France and offers camping,Gite,Bed and Breakfast, and caravan hire.
The Perche Valley sits within a regional park, full of relaxing walks and scenic drives through the forest.
Forest View is owned by an English family, and is set in 10 acres, including a 1.5 acre lake, situated next to the forest.
The site is open all year round.
Camping
There are 20 grass pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes, situated around the lake, or in the orchard, with views to the forest, and the surrounding unspoilt countryside.
Toilets, showers and electric points are available.
Caravan Storage is available on site all year round.
Gîte
Available at Forest View is a 3 bedroom gîte for hire (sleeping six people).
The gîte accommodation comprises of 3 bedrooms, one of which, is on the ground floor.
There is an open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge, a down stairs bathroom (2 steps).
Bedding can be provided at a small cost. On arrival to the gîte we offer a complimentary
bottle of wine, large baguette, croissants, jams, butter, tea, coffee and milk.
Bed and Breakfast Rooms
At Forest View we also have 3 Bed and Breakfast rooms available for hire.
2 double rooms and 1 twin room. The rooms are en suite,
Unfortunately 2 rooms are not disabled friendly as there is a flight of stairs to the rooms.
Touring Caravan Hire
We also have a touring caravan available for hire: -
4 berth (the seats turn into a double bed, and there is a bunk bed - for 2 small children),2 berth awning and porch, Central heating (hot and cold), Full Shower, Toilet, Wash Basin, Full Cooker (gas), Microwave, 3 Way Fridge (gas, electric and battery), Fly Screens to all windows and doors, Fully Equipped (plates, cooking equipment, kitchen utensils), TV/Video, Plenty of storage
The caravan is situated on one of our grass pitches around our 1.5 acre lake, with views to the surrounding forest and countryside. The caravan comes complete with everything you could need, however bed linen, quilts, pillows, sleeping bags, towels and tea towels are not supplied.
