The Cross Keys is a family run Hotel, which has undergone a major refurbishment
and modernisation programme.
The Hotel is surrounded by a wealth of history, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
such as Leighton Moss, and a wide range of visitor attractions. From the grandeur of the Lake District mountains, to the calm serenity of the Lune Valley, or the quaintly charming and award winning, Cartmel Peninsula across the sweeping sands of Morecambe Bay - all is ready to savour.
The eight superbly appointed bedrooms are all en-suite and some have sitting areas. The public rooms are equally lavishly decorated with the limed oak panelled bar one of the most attractive around.
Overnight guests can start the day with a proper English breakfast and all the trimmings - or partake in a lighter Continental-style alternative before setting out to enjoy the beauties of the surrounding countryside.

self-catering. Or may be on a bed and breakfast basis.
Bar:
The Cross Keys is a Robinsons house with Real Ales on draught such as Hartleys XB,
Robinsons Unicorn Best Bitter. Ask for this week's guest beer.The hotel is the holder of several Hartleys Best Kept Cellar awards.
Restaurant:
At the Cross Keys the resident chef, keeps an eye on the kitchens. An interesting traditional bar menu with such tasty old fashioned favourites as their own steak and ale pie, minted lamb henrie, currys,snacks, salads, roast gammon and quality, locally reared, English beef. Most of the meat on the menu is from local butchers in Silverdale and Arnside. Of course vegetarians are not forgotten - there is always a varied selection available plus a tasty menu of light bites, salads and starters. Puddings are a Cross Keys speciality with the sort Grandma used to make including treacle sponge and custard and the local favourite - sticky toffee.
