Cley Windmill

Cley Windmill dates from the 18th Century and is a well known landmark on the
North Norfolk Coast in Cley-next-the-Sea, Holt.

The Windmill has been converted into a guesthouse of great character
and charm. The old stables and boathouses are now stylish bed and
breakfast or self-catering retreats for the independent holiday makers.

Cley Windmill is one of Englands most photographed buildings. The Windmill itself
sleeps up to 18 in round and square rooms, all furnished
with style and with splendid views.

The sunsets from here are unforgettably lovely.

To visit Cley Windmill is a unique experience. Evening drinks are available
in the circular sitting room around the roaring fire. Excellent 3
course meals are served in the 300 year old beamed dining room.

The Windmill stands on the north side of the village within walking
distance of the excellent and unusual village shops. It has uninterrupted
views of the sea, the salt marshes and Cley Bird Sanctuary with Blakeney
Harbour in the distance. The large walled garden abuts the
River Glaven, surrounded by reeds and tranquillity.
