Appleton’s Farmhouse B&B is perfectly situated in the Centre of France, in the Loire Valley, near Argenton sur Creuse, easily accessible from the Auto Route, ideal for a weeks stay or resting point if you are travelling South. 6 hours from Calais and just 10 mins from the A20 Paris /Toulouse Auto Route, exit 17. Set on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, take a stroll through our fruit and vegetable gardens, watch the free range chickens or enjoy a splash in our pool. We are Gay, limited mobility, Biker and Pet friendly, see our website for our pet policy.

Appleton's has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are on the ground floor, we can accommodate up to 10, and we can provide Baby High chairs, a cot and a baby monitor for your piece of mind. Dinner is served nightly using our own organically grown fruit and vegetables and where possible organic meat from a local farm.

Location
With its stunning scenery and fine châteaux. Indre (Department 36) is the unspoilt heart of France. We are 30 kilometres away from the capital of the region Chateauroux and 8 kilometres from the historical medieval town Argenton sur Creuse, standing on the banks of the river Creuse, offering charming walks along the banks of the river.
A wonderful region for all interests from canoeing along the river, visit the nearby lake at Eguzon for water sports and beaches, spend the day at one of the many riding schools and not forgetting the endless miles of mapped walks.
Our guest house is ideally situated 20 minutes from The Brenne National Park, in the beautiful Berry Region - Department of Indre (36), which opens up a diverse area to discover. Bird watching, canoeing, cycling, golf, horse-riding, rambling or water sports at the Lake in Eguzon. It is also a haven for fishermen, with lakes in abundance.
We are approximately 3 hours drive from the Mountain Region of the Massif Central (1886m)
